Sustainable Strides: Efforts and Open Resources toward Environmental Preservation
This session will provide an overview of the strides Indiana has taken to becoming a more environmentally sustainable state. From its roots as a coal hub, Indiana and local governments have initiated movements to safeguard our state. This presentation will trace Indiana’s history and progress of government entities to preserve our natural environment. Attendees will learn online resources and discover new techniques to research environmental sustainability topics in Indiana like renewable energy, crop rotations, recycling and other green strides occurring near you.
