Registration Open for GID24

Registration is now open for in person attendance to the 2024 Government Information Day (GID24) conference! This free one-day event will take place Friday May 17th, at the Indiana State Library. This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Scott Matheson, Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). The conference will consist of three concurrent sessions, the keynote address, and two conflict free breaks for attendees to visit with exhibitors located in the Great Hall of the state library.

GID24 is an excellent opportunity to network with other librarians in the state while learning about new resources and projects from the government on the federal, state, and local levels. Indiana public librarians can earn up to 4 LEUs toward their library certification. Attendees will be able to park for free at the Senate Street Indiana State Employee Parking Garage located across the street from the state library. Please check out the GID24 conference page for the list of programs, descriptions, and times. For any questions relating to GID24, please contact Brent Abercrombie, Federal Documents Librarian, at (317) 232-3677 or babercrombie@library.in.gov.
