Fall 2024 Federal Depository Library Conference
Save the date! The fall 2024 Federal Depository Library Conference is taking place October 21 – 23. Registration to attend is now open. This virtual event brings together the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) and the Depository Library Council for the largest annual gathering of Federal depository librarians and colleagues in the country. The three-day conference is free to attend and open to anyone interested in government information.
Planning is still underway as GPO is seeking exhibitors, poster creators, and presenters for educational sessions. The conference is an excellent opportunity to highlight recent projects or resources related to government information. The deadline to submit a session or poster is September 3. A preliminary conference schedule is available now. A detailed agenda along with conference slides and handouts will be made available closer to the date of the conference.
Leading up to the conference is the FDLP Preconference webinar: Updates from GPO’s Library Services & Content Management, is taking place October 16, 2024, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. GPO staff will provide updates on projects and initiatives underway in LSCM. Registration to attend this free webinar is also open.
